The Viking Birds
The following birds are part of a large commission from Viking Cruise Lines for two polar expedition ships. The ships will take passengers to four regions - Antarctica, the Atlantic coasts of South and North America, the Great Lakes region, and the Arctic. Viking commissioned lists of representative species of bird for each of the four regions. The birds will be used to familiarize passengers with the wildlife they'll encounter on their expeditions. I will be adding photos of the birds from each region as I complete them.
